Scott Vander Kolk Sr. - Auction manager/Auctioneer
|
Graduated from Missouri Auction school in 1974. Scott has managed
and sold numerous private auctions in 29 years from court liquidations
to farm machinery. Scott has also worked as the primary auctioneer
for Wayland Livestock Auction, Ravenna Livestock Auction, M&W
Asset and Recovery Auction, and Marion Livestock Sales. At M&W
Scott has also been responsible for a large number of their truck
auctions, managing organization, advertising, and selling. Scott
also sold and managed the yearly auction for the Allegan County
Sheriff's Dept., Allegan City Police, and the Allegan County Road
Commission. Scott is also a member of the Michigan State Auctioneers
Association.

Graduate of Brunswick School of Auctioneering. Scott Jr. worked
in the family auction business for 13 years before striking out
on his own. Golden Gavel has done several successful auctions
including lumber-yard liquidations, consignment auctions, private
sales and fundraisers. Scott has successfully completed the NAA Certified Estate
Specialist course, and is a member of the Michigan State Auctioneers Association
and the National Auctioneers Association. Scott is a MSAA
bid-calling finalist, member of the MSAA board of directors and a
2007 recipient of the Lloyd R. Braun scholarship.

Kerry Vander Kolk - Assistant
auction manager/Internet sales
|
Kerry has worked with Golden Gavel since the
very first auction in 2001. Kerry's contributions to sale day
are a are immeasurable, overseeing the entire auction, filling
in where needed, customer relations and all the sale-end paperwork
makes her an irreplaceable member of our staff. She also heads
up our internet sales on eBay, check what's on this week.

John joined
us in September of 2005 at the Van Soest auction, since then we
have made our top priority to keep him around. John's professional
attitude and organizational prowess make him a indispensable asset
to our business. John's determination to "do it right"
have made the entire auction process exceptionally smooth. |

Nate
Vander Kolk - Clerk/Cashier
|
Nate is usually involved in all aspects of Golden Gavel Auctions.
His main duties include clerking and he has recently moved into
a cashier position at many auctions. But, he is also heavily involved
in the set-up and take down of most of our auctions as well as
picking up any slack in duties in need of attention.

gavel is no different. For us that person is none other than Al
Berens. Al is diligent in his pursuit of bids and knowledgeable

Denny
Dingerson - "Logistics" manager
|
Have ya met Denny? If you are not sure, then the answer is no,
because he is unforgettable! Starting with the Grand Rapids Sash
and Door auction in 2007 Denny has been a Golden Gavel staple
and is quickly becoming an indispensable member of the team. Hi-lo
driver, box toter, ringman...he does it all with personality and
enthusiasm. And if you have an hour or two, he'd love to share
his thoughts on canola and bio-fuel.

Lucas Spoor - Auctioneer/Estate Management representative

Officially joining the team in 2007, Lucas has worked with us
on and off since the fall of 2004. Lucas' retail, sales and contracting
background are a perfect fit for our estate settlement and liquidation
solution services. Primarily Lucas will concentrate his efforts
in assisting professionals by providing solutions to estate settlement,
bankruptcy, business liquidation and distribution of assets. Lucas
is a member of the Michigan State Auctioneers Association.

with us in 2004. His impact has been felt immediately, especially

Mike has
been with us since 2003. His computer background is a great asset,
as well as great problem-solving and organizational skills. These
skills helped us make to make the jump from our old paper cashier
